    Das 1989 von Jess Jackson gegründete Weingut Stonestreet Estate Vineyards ist ein kalifornisches Weingut in der Unterappellation Alexander Valley in Sonoma County, das hauptsächlich für seine Cabernet Sauvignon und Chardonnay Weine aus Einzellagen bekannt ist. Die Rebflächen des Anwesens umfassen etwa 400 Hektar am Fuße der Mayacamas-Berge, in Lagen zwischen 120 und 730 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Alle Parzellen weisen unterschiedliche Besonderheiten in Bezug auf Höhe, Ausrichtung und Sonneneinstrahlung auf, was zu ganz unterschiedlichen Mikroklimata führt. Daher werden sie alle individuell bewirtschaftet.

    Die Chardonnay-Trauben für diesen großartigen Wein werden aus einer Reihe von Parzellen in den besten Lagen des Weinguts Stonestreet Mountain Estate ausgesucht. Bei der Herstellung des Weins wird besonders darauf geachtet, dass er die charakteristischen Eigenschaften seines Terroirs und des jeweiligen Jahrgangs optimal widerspiegelt.

    Der Stonestreet Estate Vineyards Chardonnay besitzt eine delikate Restsüße karamellisierter Äpfel und Ananas sowie die spritzige Frische von Steinobst mit einer leichten Salznote und etwas Zitrusaromen. Am Gaumen ist er angenehm rund und wärmend, mit einer schönen fruchtigen Fülle und angenehmer Frische. Er ist spritzig und hat einen guten Abgang. Genießen Sie ihn entweder solo oder zu Meeresfrüchten und Krabben.
