    Das junge Weingut Eva Pemper wurde 2019 im Herzen von Marlborough, auf der Südinsel Neuseelands, gegründet und produziert hochwertige Weine, die in wenigen Jahren bereits enormen Erfolg und verschiedene internationale Auszeichnungen erlangt haben. Inhaberin und Gründerin ist die kroatische Winzerin Eva Pemper, die auf eine lange Familientradition der Weinproduktion in Kroatien zurückblicken kann und 2012 nach Neuseeland zog. Das Etikett zeigt einen kleinen Amor, der ein Glas Wein in der Hand hält, ein Bild, das ein Erbe von Evas Familienbetrieb ist und ihre Liebe zu gutem Wein repräsentiert.

    Die Sauvignon Blanc-Trauben werden maschinell geerntet und schonend in Edelstahltanks gepresst. Die Gärung erfolgt bei niedrigen Temperaturen mit ausgewählten Hefestämmen, um das für diese Sorte typische intensive Aroma zu erhalten.

    Der Wein zeigt ein frisches und lebendiges Aromaprofil mit angenehmen Noten von Limette, grünem Apfel und Steinobst. Am Gaumen ist er ein Durstlöscher mit einer gut gehaltenen Säure und einem ausgewogenen Körper. Die Fruchtaromen kehren am Gaumen mit frischer Lebendigkeit und einem schmackhaften, langen Abgang zurück. Eva Pemper Sauvignon Blanc ist ein köstlicher Aperitif, passt aber auch sehr gut zu Meeresfrüchten und leichten vegetarischen Gerichten auf der Basis von Spargel, Paprika und mediterranem Gemüse.
