Geschichte

Die Domaine Vincent Girardin befindet sich in Meursault, in der Côte de Beaune, in Burgund. Sie wurde 1980 gegründet, als Vincent Girardin, der aus einer Winzerfamilie aus Santenay stammte, begann, auf zwei Hektar Weinbergen, die er von seinen Eltern geerbt hatte, selbständig Wein zu produzieren. Schon bald wurde die Qualität seiner Weine weltweit anerkannt und ermöglichte es ihm, sein Geschäft zu erweitern, indem er sich hauptsächlich auf die großen Weiß- und Rotweine der Côte de Beaune (Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Santenay, Savigny Les Beaune, Aloxe Corton, Volnay und Pommard) konzentrierte. Im Jahr 2012 verkaufte Vincent Girardin sein Unternehmen an Herrn Nié, Président de la Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois in Beaune.
