Geschichte

La Bollina ist ein modernes und innovatives Weingut im Alto Monferrato, das sich in einem wunderschönen Anwesen befindet, das einst den Marquisen Figari aus Genua gehörte und aus einer Jugendstilvilla des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts, die in ein Luxushotel umgewandelt wurde, einem großen Golfplatz und riesigen Kastanienwäldern besteht. In diesem faszinierenden Umfeld erstrecken sich die Weinberge über 28 Hektar.

Der größte Teil davon ist mit Cortese bestockt, der einheimischen Rebsorte, aus der Gavi gewonnen wird. Die anderen angebauten Sorten sind Chardonnay, Nebbiolo und Barbera. Die Reben werden auf überwiegend lehmigen Böden gepflanzt und haben eine gute Süd- und Südostausrichtung.
