    Geschichte

    Eine der ältesten Winzerfamilien in Chateauneuf du Pape, die Boirons, machen seit 1860 Wein in Bosquet des Papes, als sie das Anwesen kauften. Das Weingut wird heute in der sechsten Generation geführt und hat den Ruf, erstklassige Chateauneuf du Pape im traditionellen Stil zu produzieren, die mindestens 8-10 Jahre lang wunderbar reifen.

    Die Familie bewirtschaftet insgesamt 40 verschiedene Parzellen in der Appellation Chateauneuf du Pape mit einem durchschnittlichen Alter der Rebstöcke von 50 Jahren, was ihren beeindruckenden Weinen Intensität und echte Tiefe verleiht. Der Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes ist ihr Flaggschiff und wird aus den ältesten Rebstöcken der Familie gekeltert, die zwischen 70 und 100 Jahre alt sind.
