    Das in der spanischen Stadt San Vicente de la Sonsierra gelegene Señorío de San Vicente ist ein Label der Familie Eguren, das nur einen einzigen Wein umfasst. Das Projekt entstand aus dem Wunsch, eine fast ausgestorbene Tempranillo-Sorte wiederzubeleben und einen Wein aus einem einzigen Weinberg zu erzeugen.

    Dieser herrliche Wein aus der Region Rioja wird aus 100% Tempranillo Peludo (so genannt wegen der charakteristischen Behaarung am unteren Teil des Blattes) hergestellt, einer fast ausgestorbenen Sorte, die in Rioja Sonsierra beheimatet ist. Die Trauben werden auf dem 18 Hektar großen Weinberg Finca La Canoca, der von kontinentalen Klimaeinflüssen und kalkhaltigen Lehmböden profitiert, von Hand ausgewählt und geerntet. Nach der Vinifizierung ruht der fertige Wein für 20 Monate in Eichenfässern.

    Senorio de San Vicente San Vicente hat eine granatrote Farbe und ein elegantes und breites aromatisches Profil. In der Nase zeigt er duftende Noten von roten Früchten und Lakritz, gefolgt von Röst- und Balsamico-Noten. Am Gaumen ist er schmackhaft und konzentriert, rund und kräftig. Es ist ein sehr ausgewogener Wein mit einer guten Frische und einem langen und eleganten Abgang, der an leichte Röstaromen erinnert. Probieren Sie ihn zu Lammfleisch oder zu mittelalten Käsesorten.
