Rosé-Weine

Rosé-Weine werden in der Regel durch Einmaischen schwarzer Trauben hergestellt, wobei der Saft einige Stunden lang mit den Traubenschalen in Kontakt bleibt. Auf diese Weise werden Aroma, Tannine und Farbe aus den Schalen extrahiert, so dass die Winzer den gewünschten Farbton und Geschmack des Weins einstellen können, indem sie den Kontakt mit den Schalen verlängern oder verkürzen. Eine andere, weniger verbreitete Methode ist die Entnahme des ersten Saftes, der vor der Herstellung eines Rotweins gewonnen wird. Rosé-Weine werden in der Regel jung in Flaschen abgefüllt oder für kurze Zeit in neutralen Edelstahltanks oder Fässern ausgebaut. Schlüsselregionen der Rosé-Weinherstellung

Die wohl bekannteste Rosé-Weinregion ist die Provence in Südfrankreich, die elegante blassrosa Weine mit viel Frische und Aromatik hervorbringt. Whispering Angel ist einer der beliebtesten Rosé-Weine aus Frankreich. Spanien ist der zweitgrößte Erzeuger von Rosé, wobei die meisten in den Regionen Rioja und Navarra in einem reichhaltigeren, in Eichenholz gereiften Stil hergestellt werden. Weitere wichtige Regionen sind Kalifornien, das für seinen White Zinfandel bekannt ist, sowie Teile Italiens, Chiles und Australiens.

Rosé-Weine Rebsorten

Rosé-Weine werden in der Regel durch leichtes Pressen schwarzer Trauben und Extraktion des ersten ablaufenden Safts hergestellt. Die Winzer können die Farbtiefe und die Intensität des Weins erhöhen, indem sie den Saft über einen längeren Zeitraum auf den Schalen mazerieren lassen. Einige wichtige Rebsorten, die für die Herstellung von Rosé-Weinen verwendet werden, sind Grenache, die für die meisten Rosé-Weine der Provence verwendet wird, und Tempranillo, der für spanische Rosé-Weine weit verbreitet ist. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot und Pinot Noir werden ebenfalls häufig für die Herstellung von Rosé-Weinen verwendet.
